These statistics are based exclusively on websites scanned through the GA Auditor public web scanner. GA Auditor detects technologies using publicly observable website signals such as HTML, JavaScript, network requests, cookies, endpoints, IDs, and other technology fingerprints.
Private GA Auditor customer workspace data is not included in these statistics.
Learn more about our methodology →Only unclaimed anonymous public-scanner records with no user, organization, or workspace ownership are eligible. Connected GA4, GTM, BigQuery, workspace monitoring, and customer history are excluded.
We reuse the scanner’s canonical technology normalizer. Failed, truncated, and unresolved-consent scans are excluded. Each domain contributes its latest eligible record to the overall sample and its latest record within each calendar month or year to historical samples. If that record is incomplete, the domain is omitted from that sample.
Adoption is the number of sampled websites with observable technology signals divided by all eligible websites in that period. Co-occurrence is the number with both technologies divided by websites with the selected technology. Pairwise combinations use the same denominator.
Aggregates refresh daily through WordPress scheduled jobs. Observation periods use the existing scanner timestamp timezone; calculation timestamps are UTC. Claimed scans are removed from subsequent calculations. No website lists, domains, identifiers, requests, or private account data are published.
This is a sample of scanned websites, not an estimate of the entire web. Consent, regional behavior, blockers, custom endpoints, and technologies loaded after capture can affect detection. Absence of an observable signal does not prove a technology is absent. Changes in the monthly sample can affect trends.
