Privacy Policy
At GA Auditor, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our website and connected tools.
Information We Collect
We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, and organization details when you register or interact with our platform. When you connect Google services (GA4, GTM, BigQuery), we may access limited data from your connected accounts via Google's APIs with your explicit consent.
How We Use Your Data
- To perform analytics and audit functions for your connected accounts.
- To provide reports, dashboards, and insights relevant to your organization.
- To send service-related notifications or product updates.
- To improve our tools and user experience.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or account data with third parties.
Access to Google User Data
When you connect Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or BigQuery, we use OAuth to obtain limited read-only access as authorized by you. We only use this data within your session to audit configuration and performance. We do not permanently store, share, or use your Google data for any purpose beyond providing the requested service.
Data Access Disclosure
GA Auditor uses the following Google APIs only for read-only analysis:
- Google Analytics Admin API – read account, property, and configuration data.
- Google Tag Manager API – read container, tag, and trigger configurations.
- BigQuery API – read dataset metadata and query sample data when authorized.
These APIs are accessed solely through OAuth 2.0 with the user’s consent. We do not use these APIs to modify, share, or resell any Google user data.
Revoking Access
You may revoke our access at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to understand usage patterns and enhance user experience. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.
Data Retention
OAuth tokens and audit data are stored only in encrypted form for the duration of your session or processing period and are automatically purged within 24 hours. No permanent storage of Google user data occurs on our servers.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of our platform implies acceptance of the revised policy.
